OUR ORIGINS

Welcome to Salty Olive, here we have gifts for the young, not so young and the ones that like a bit of adult naughtiness.

Salty Olive consists of me, Vicky, my beloved soon to be husband Ben – who without, I’d still be itching my head trying to figure out a website. My 8-year-old son, 3-year-old daughter, 12-year-old stepson, my beautiful mother and step dad. …and why have I included them in this section? because I ask for their opinions on our products, age related of course! If you get a thumbs down from these guys it isn’t making the cut. 

As you can see, I involve the whole family and value their input, that is what Salty Olive is all about.

At the heart of my family were my grandparents, Olive and Arnold. These two beautiful beings provided me with so much love and happiness no words can describe how much I am grateful for, not in materialistic things but fun, love and adventure. These were, of course, priceless to me. A hug, countless stories of their past and travels around the UK, with 5 kids, 1 dog and a pipe smoking father in a robin reliant, they provided me with memories that will never fade.  

A lot of the products that have kick started Salty Olive are things they were interested in, things that inspired me to continue in their memory. 

Gardening, adventures and all that come with it. Picnics, the love of telling their stories, which we never tired of, and the cheeky humour from my Gran (she had a wicked sense of humour).

So……. our aim is to offer gifts that will make you, your family, friends or your someone special smile. Have a little giggle, explore new places, start conversations and get out in the fresh air. But above all…. make memories.
